Sometimes things get overly complicated.\u00a0 We take in so much information in a given day, it’s difficult to digest it all, much less put something into practice.\u00a0 Yesterday, I read an article that acknowledged this.\u00a0 It listed a number of things right up front that would lead to a particular outcome.\u00a0 Then, it said, “Reading the list is easy. Putting it into practice can be hard.”\u00a0 So, let’s make this simple.\u00a0 Think of something, one thing, whether it is easy or difficult, that you acknowledge is a flaw in your character.\u00a0 It can be lying, cheating, gossiping, profanity, slothfulness, gluttony, materialism, anger, jealousy, pride, lust (porn), substance abuse – the list goes on.\u00a0 You figure it out.\u00a0 Pick one thing.\u00a0 Now, stop doing it.\u00a0 You may have to come up with a plan.\u00a0 You may need take some affirmative action –\u00a0confess, find some accountability, unsubscribe to a service, subscribe to a service (filter), whatever it takes.\u00a0 And, don’t go back to it.\u00a0 That’s my challenge to you.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
